Chicago, South Shore & South Bend Railroad

The Chicago, South Shore & South Bend Railroad is the last interurban railroad running between South Bend, Indiana to Chicago.

Waterloo & St. Jacobs Railway

The Waterloo & St. Jacobs Railroad ran between Waterloo and St. Jacobs Ontario using two old F units as power. We rode this railroad fairly often since the St. Jacobs stop was right behind my mother-in-law's house. The highlight of the trip was the bridge across the river in St. Jacobs. Sadly, this operation closed down in March 2000.
